Macklemore performed a 17-song set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on October 22. During the concert, the rapper addressed the audience directly to discuss his political views. He reaffirmed his support for Palestine and stated his opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

These remarks followed his removal from Ed Sheeran’s U.S. Loop Tour in September. The decision came after Macklemore performed at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on September 4. During that show, he expressed solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

Messina Touring Group, the promoter for the Loop Tour, cited venue objections as the reason for the change. The company explained that several venues objected to Macklemore remaining on the lineup. Those venues raised concerns about potential concert cancellations.

Macklemore has continued to speak publicly about Palestinian rights despite the controversy surrounding the tour change. He announced a Free Palestine Tour with concerts scheduled in Dublin, Paris, and London. These performances are set for late October.

Proceeds from the Free Palestine Tour will support organizations providing humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. The Red Rocks performance served as another public statement of the rapper’s political positions. The concert took place weeks after his departure from the U.S. Loop Tour.
